Lost Love:  Galaxy
October 24 – December 21
LAL Project Space

Cindy Hinant’s mixed media installation creates a heart-filled space to hold lost affection. Lost Love:  Galaxy is an installation developed partly from the memory of a childhood crush.  Filling the installation space with “stickers, child-like renderings and images from popular culture,” Hinant secures a personal, romanticized environment for bygone emotions and affection.

All Lexington Art League programs are made possible through the generous support of LexArts. The annual Campaign for the Arts has raised millions of dollars in support of the visual, literary and performing arts in Lexington. Through the success of the Campaign, LexArts supports the Lexington Art League with an allocation of $52,500 for general operating support. We thank the many individuals whose passion for the arts compelled them to give generously of their time and money. Together we raised more than $1 million during the 2007 Campaign!
